The Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences has access to the ORCID Affiliation Manager.

After authorization by the scientist, the Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences can add affiliations in the areas of Employment, Education, Qualification, Invited Position, Distinction, Membership and Service in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

The Montanuniversität Leoben uses PURE (Elsevier) as a research information system.

Scientists are given the option of automated data export from PURE to ORCID. It is also possible to import data into PURE from an ORCID profile.

After authorization by the scientist, the Montanuniversität Leoben appears as an “Employment Affiliation” (employer) in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

For all data (affiliations, publications, etc.) that were exported from PURE to ORCID, the Montanuniversität Leoben appears as the “source” (data source). It was recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier).

The synchronization between ORCID and the research portal of the Montanuniversität Leoben is done manually by the scientists themselves.

Paris Lodron University Salzburg uses Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Open Journal Systems (OJS) to host the open access journal “Zeitschrift für Praktische Philosophie”.

TU Graz uses PURE (Elsevier) as a research information system.

Scientists are given the option of automated data export from PURE to ORCID. It is also possible to import data into PURE from an ORCID profile.

After authorization by the scientist, TU Graz appears as an “Employment Affiliation” (employer) in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

The synchronization between ORCID and the research portal of TU Graz is done manually by the scientists themselves.

The Vienna University of Technology uses the DSpace-CRIS (4Science) software for its open-access repository reposiTUm.

New documents can be uploaded after logging in by manually filling out the input mask (metadata entry). In addition, the input mask can be pre-filled by import via bibliographic formats (file upload) or via import with identifier (ORCID iD, DOI, ISBN, PubMed ID) and then completed manually.

The metadata in reposiTUm is curated by the library and is available for distribution via the OAI-PMH interface. reposiTUm uses the Dublin Core schema as a metadata schema, extended by locally specific schemas for the intellectual capital statement and TU Vienna-related content.

In reposiTUm, the ORCID iD is automatically added to the publications of those scientists who have entered their ORCID iD in the campus information system TISS.

An export from reposiTUm to ORCID is possible if the scientist has agreed to an auto-update by DataCite (as the DOI provider of the TU Vienna). DataCite must be recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier) and then appears as the “source” (data source) for the relevant data sets.

The synchronization between ORCID and reposiTUm is done manually by the scientists themselves.

The Vienna University of Technology has access to the ORCID Affiliation Manager.

After authorization by the scientist, TU Wien can add affiliations in the areas of Employment, Education, Qualification, Invited Position, Distinction, Membership and Service in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

For all data exported to ORCID via Affiliation Manager, TU Wien appears as the “Source”. It was recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier).

The Vienna University of Technology developed TISS as its own campus information system.

After authorization by the scientist, the TU Vienna appears as an “Employment Affiliation” (employer) in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

For all data (employment affiliation, country) exported from TISS to ORCID, the TU Wien appears as the “source” (data source). It was recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier).

The ORCID and TISS are synchronized manually by the scientists themselves.

The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna has access to the ORCID Affiliation Manager.

After authorization by the scientist, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna can add affiliations in the areas of Employment, Education, Qualification, Invited Position, Distinction, Membership and Service in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

The University of Innsbruck has access to the ORCID Affiliation Manager.

After authorization by the researcher, the University of Innsbruck can add affiliations in the areas of Employment, Education, Qualification, Invited Position, Distinction, Membership and Service in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

For all data exported to ORCID via Affiliation Manager, the University of Innsbruck appears as the source. It was recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier).

The University of Vienna uses PURE (Elsevier) for its research information system u:cris.

Scientists are given the option of exporting individual data sets from PURE to ORCID as soon as they have been activated in PURE. It is also possible to import data into PURE from an ORCID profile.

The ORCID and u:cris are synchronized manually by the scientists themselves (no auto-update).

After authorization by the researcher, the University of Vienna appears as an “Employment Affiliation” (employer) in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.

For all data (affiliations, publications, etc.) that were exported from PURE to ORCID, the University of Vienna appears as the “source” (data source). It was recognized by the scientists as a “trusted party” (trustworthy data supplier).

The Vienna University of Economics and Business has access to the ORCID Affiliation Manager.

After authorization by the researcher, the Vienna University of Economics and Business can add affiliations in the areas of Employment, Education, Qualification, Invited Position, Distinction, Membership and Service in the ORCID profile of the person concerned.
